Priority registration for current students opens August 18 at 9 a.m. Open registration begins August 20 at 9 a.m.
This class is mixed-level and open to students of all experience levels.
Beginner students will learn the fundamentals of static and dance trapeze including mounts, hangs, balances, and seated and standing poses. Intermediate students will learn to incorporate more challenging and dynamic moves such as beats, wind-ups, drops and rolls. Everyone will have the chance to develop their creativity, discover transitions and combine their skills together into sequences.
All students will build strength, stability and confidence with a focus on proper technique and safety. Each student works at their own pace through the curriculum to learn and improve their skills and will receive individualized instruction tailored to their unique bodies, abilities, comfort, strength and experience level.
It's recommended that students wear form-fitting clothing that covers the backs of the knees and torso.
